I worked for SOS which was recently acquired by this company. All I can say is elder abuse! They know you are retired, and may have another job, or a disability, but they force you to work beyond your physical capacity. One gentlemen 74 who had another part time day job, was also forced to work nights for fourteen straight days before he quit.

They hire anyone, however trainers and fellow trainees that are younger really put mature trainees through a rough time with comments and letting them go because so called metrics aren't what they should be. No coaching help and patience or understanding, very discriminating.
yea they hire just about anybody but never give raises and even after working for 8-10 years no raises.

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping? I am grateful to your agency for providing the results of your survey and your commitment to provide older workers with reliable job leads.
