Different managers treat older employees fair and some treat them like they should not be working there. They also fail to take into consideration that most older employees would not be working if they didn't need too. Not all older employees only held positions in a auto parts store.
The specifically ask you on the job application if you are between a certain age bracket. If you are not they will not allow you to continue the application. Clearly age discrimination.

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping?
