Northwest Colorado Council of Governments (NWCCOG) is a voluntary association of county and municipal governments that believes in the benefits of working together on a regional basis. NWCCOG serves 26 member jurisdictions in a 5-county region of northwest Colorado.
I am 81 years old and have been working for this company for 18 months. While it is a fact that I have never met another employee with this company, I am now working in two territories and continue to get a check every two weeks. I have no reason to believe that my age is helpful nor detrimental to my employment.

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping?
