There are many jobs here that individuals has applied after their retirement from the City Administration, Armed Forces and other corporations (Schlumberger, BASF, etc)
U.S. Army, MEPCOM is an excellent place to work. Mostly hire veterans to deliver ASVAB.
USPS hires anyone regardless of age. I was in a group of newly hired employees which ranged in ages from 20s to 60s.

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business.
