I am in my early 70's and applied for one of their positions. It was a long hiring process but after filling out what I needed to fill out and going through the interviews I got hired!
Building a new resume with the WAHVE representative was both laborious, yet satisfying. The representative was thorough and took her time to help me create a resume that highlighted my accomplishments. This new resume was not typically what would be created by a retired person on their own. I think it turned out rather well. However, it has been 6 months and I have yet to receive my first assignment. I have instead taken other temporary, part-time positions in my community. Sometimes knowing business owners in your home town is a better way to begin offering your expertise to local companies.
I applied for the Bookkeeper position. I had no problem logging in so I don't understand why anyone else is. It was a long interview process but I got the job! 68 and I was hired! Love being able to work at home!
Great company to work for with great leadership. Working from home is the best situation for me. I love that we practice what we preach with our candidates who apply for assignments with us. All of the employees work from home and we all work like a well-oiled machine. This is a company that truly cares about vintage workers and provides the best working situation you could ask for.
They make it their business to place retirees in work at home positions in the insurance industry.
What's not to like? I work for a company that values 'vintage' employees and I can do it all from my home. I recommend this company.

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping?
