It’s not just PBC it’s all of PepsiCo. They are prepping for another massive layoff in February. They show us the love on Valentine’s Day by giving us the boot. And previous reviewer nailed it by saying they are pushing out people close to retirement because they don’t want to fund our pensions anymore. There are managers who prefer a younger person with zero experience over a seasoned employee who knows the ins and outs of the company simply based on age and image. And HR is non existent so there’s no help.
They constantly use re-structuring and re-organizaing as a means to push those close to retirement or non-millenial out the door!
Always moving out older folks in favor of young, inexperienced "College Hires".

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping? I am grateful to your agency for providing the results of your survey and your commitment to provide older workers with reliable job leads.
