Actions, not just words - Carmax hires people who are 50+. Not just a company that pays lip service to equal opportunity for seniors.

Managers change approx. every 12 months. In my four years, I saw positive "over 50" attitudes but the last manager was on a mission to cull the "over 60 employees" saying that they needed to "keep up" with younger employees.

Carmazzi

Carmazzi Global Solutions (CGS) is a comprehensive language management company that provides customized solutions for our global clients. Our mission is to enable worldwide clients to connect cultures—moving them from language to understanding, and propelling them into an international presence and success in the global marketplace. Our core business includes business support services, document translation and localization, on-site interpretation and telephonic interpretation.

In 1998, after completing a practical five-year training program on business networking, President Angela Carmazzi began to put those lessons to work from her own tiny dining-room table, networking with other linguists and finding assignments for them.

Nearly two decades later, CGS has become one of the most respected and competitive language services companies in the nation. Hundreds of clients have enjoyed the Carmazzi Global Solutions experience while assisting and supporting the Limited English Proficient (LEP) community.

Testimonials:

After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping? I am grateful to your agency for providing the results of your survey and your commitment to provide older workers with reliable job leads.
