I have applied several times for positions with this company. I had a face to face and once the interviewer say me, all changed. It was obvious that the interview was over and didn’t matter what my experience reflected.

My rating is '2'. After 22 years of dedicated service, I was forced to retire through the elimination of my job and then the same job, with increased responsibilities that were outside of my ability, was posted, keeping me from being eligible for rehire. Now, this company will not hire me back for the jobs I am qualified for. I also noticed that in thier equal opportunity disclaimer, they mention race, sex etc, but they left out age as one thing the don't discriminate against. Co-incidence?? I don't think so.

This is a healthcare organization that does not practice what it preaches about thriving and giving seniors good quality of life. They find all kinds of excuses to get rid of 50 year olds in their employment even falsifying performance charges. There are a few 50-60 year old physicians but they are usually part-time per diem just to fill in when they are short handed. After 22 years of dedicated service, I was forced to retire through the elimination of my job and then the same job, with increased responsibilities that were outside of my ability, was posted, keeping me from being eligible for rehire. After reading the comments by those who express their perspective of age related discriminating practices by more than a few employers, I felt very concerned for older workers that need/desire employment. I wonder if these employers understand that it is not just the revenue from young adults that keep them in business. I wonder how they would survive if the older generation would stop supporting their businesses. I also wonder if these employers understand the principle of sowing and reaping?
